Our new camera

I haven't been feeling like myself lately, but I thought I would try to post on here anyway. :c) 
Well, as you may have noticed from my recent pictures ,and videos, that our camera was needing an upgrade. So my husband went out and bought a nice new one. It's a Nikon D3100, and it's really cool! I just can't seem to figure everything out on it yet. I'm not sure I ever will either, my husband has decided to attach it to his face permanently,lol.  As you can see on the pictures below, the images are clear and pretty, and the video quality is also clear, you can actually tell what's going on (I will post a video later). I am so excited to be able to use this for school, basketball games, and other fun filled activities. Well I'm off to rest..Have a blessed day all! :c)

Upward Basketball Camp

So, we signed our children up for Upward Basketball camp this year, after our second oldest said she was interested in playing.  They practiced for two days and had a fun little game on the third day. It was very exciting!  The children learned more about working with a team and following rules. They also learned more about the sport. We are not a sporty family, so this was new to all of them. The best part about Upward is that they do a team devotional during every practice, and in the middle of a game. They show that God can be glorified, even in sports. We decided we would sign them up for the season , and they can't wait for their first practice. I am so glad they all loved it. It's nice to take all three children to one place, one day a week for practice , instead of separate places on separate days.  I would love to know ,what sports have your children done, and what were / are your favorite or most frustrating moments ? The Pre-school years

Ah, I remember it like it was yesterday. We read alot of books in those days,  still do, but the children do it more on their own now. Getting your hands dirty was part of school , we even had a tupperware container full of glitter, corn meal flour, dried beans and noodles , etc. , to learn more about texture and drive toy cars through,lol. 
Preschool is such a fun time to learn. I remember when we made pumpkin pies, and studied Banana Spiders that daddy took pictures of , while he was down in South GA. The links here, on my other blog. Maybe it will give you some ideas.
